ITWBN - Into the West (World) Blogger Nerwork

We had a pleasure of attending yet another Into the West blogger network event in Galway.
For those of you fellow bloggers who never heard of it...well, where have you been hiding? The hashtag ITWBN has been treding on Twitter for quite some time. It's a network for bloggers and it's run by Sinead from YummyMummy and Saibh from Saibhegan.com.

The Sunday event was held in the beautiful and very fancy Radisson Blu hotel in Galway.
It was our second time to attend the Into the West blogger nerwork event and we knew we have a great day ahead of us. And wow, it was that and more! The event was bigger and better and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The Into The West Blogger Network is preparing to take over the World!
Room full of 60 bloggers eager to learn and support one another is what makes these events so special and successful. Sinead and Saibh made sure that the event is both educational and enjoyable. Between the great speeches we enjoyed talking and exchanging tips/contacts with fellow bloggers, browsing through many fabulous stands full of fashion and beauty products and literally stuffing our faces with delicious finger food, macaroons and cupcakes.

The event kicked off by warm welcome from Saibh and a brief intro in to our day schedule.
First speaker was Maricka from OMIG - Online marketing in Galway and we got an insight and very usefull tips on SEO - Search engine optimisation.
Siobhan Mcdonnell from Letzmakeup was up next, she is one of the leading Irish vloggers with over 200k subscribers on her YouTube channel (subscribe to her YouTube HERE). She was very motivational and inspiring. She gave away a lot of advice to aspiring vloggers and she definitely gave me and Agata that final push to possibly starting our own YouTube channel (what do you guys think?)
Next stop was Richie from BEUTiFi.com  he introduced his new business. It's an online booking website for any beauty treatments. He's already established in Dublin and he's now trying to launch in to the rest of the country. It's a brilliant idea, the website looks very proffesional and there are some fab offers for beauty and hair treatments. So do check it out.
The room went into overdrive when our favourite player - The Galway Player himself stepped on to the stage. All the girls instanly put down there phones to listen to this cheeky guy (just after everyone got a picture of course). He was very funny and daring and there was serious name dropping and slagging going on troughout his speech (that's all I can reveal). If you're not familliar of whith who he is, just follow him on Twitter HERE or check out his blog GalwayPlayer. He talked about the importance of social media to any business or blog and how to make the most out of it. He's already a 'celebrity' on Twitter and now he's trying to break the Instagram (by save a puppy campaign), so show him some love on insta and hit the follow button (HERE).
The last speaker of the day was the charming Kate from CocoaBrown. She talked about the road to her dream job and what's it like to work in PR for such a successful company. You could instantly see why they offered her the PR job straight after she finished her internship with Cocoa Brown. Kate's bubbly personality shined throughout her entire speech. Kate is also a blogger at Pure Irish Sugar and therefore she gave us some very useful advice on how to maintain a good relationships with brands.

We also received amazing goodie bags with some superb products such as Isa Dora cosmetics, Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff scrub, Tan Organic oil, Debenhams voucher, Wet'N'Wild cosmetics, Benefit, Elemis, Nia, NeoStrata, Hemp Soap, The Irish Get up and Go Diary and much more.
Thank you to all the sponsors and we're in the process of reviewing all of these, so there are many reviews to follow in the next while.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the ITWBN event and cannot wait for the next one in May. If you want to come along, keep up to date and network with fellow bloggers, then make sure you follow the Into the West Blogger Network on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM and TWITTER.

Until next time...

PS:
We would like to pick our best dressed of the event:
For us the Best dressed
of the February 2015 ITWBN event goes to...drumroll please..

Sandra Harty from A Modern Mommy's World. She stole the show in emerald green midi skirt from Chicwish and had proven once again that a simple rule 'Less is More' is the way to do it!
Sandra is not only stylish, but also a baker extraordinaire! She made the stunning ITWBN cake (first picture), that nobody wanted to cut because it looked so pretty.
