Yellow by Veronika

Pop Of Yellow

One of my favourite colour combinations must be Red and Yellow. These two colours work wonders when you want to make an ordinary outfit in to something more interesting.

So far this year we had some sunny days in Ireland ;-) So when I chose this outfit, I was very optimistic and didn't plan to wear a jacket or tights... but just when I walked out of the house, the sun disapeared (like it knew I had my summer mood on!) and I had to put on a few more layers.

These lace shorts are really easy to style with more less anything. They are my wardrobe staple! With high waste and wide cut, they flatter my pear shape. I am a size 10 (38),  but I bought these few years ago when I was a size or 2 bigger and I loved them then also. That just shows how versatile and classic these shorts are.

I am a self confessed shopoholic and I love nothing more than a bargaing! So when I found this stunning vintage blouse in a charity shop near by, I nearly start jumping up and down :-)
I adore the simple black and yellow flowery print, it makes the blouse good to wear in any season. I tied a knot on it to accentuate my waste.

I love big bags, because I always carry a lot of things around. I bought this tassled handbag on my travels few years ago in Milan and it's one of my favourites.
My hair was a big mess that day, so I put it up and styled it with a red scarf to hide the roots etc..

One of my weaknesses are accessories. I am a jewellery hoarder! The thruth is out!
Anywhere I travel, I always buy a piece of jewellery (amongst other things) :-)
One of the best ones I own is this vintage gold necklace. I bought it in New York few years ago. I have worn it on many occassions (even to a wedding). It's a statement piece of jewellery and I am sure you'll be seeing it again in the future. I threw on this green pom-pom ring (made by moi for Dotty Holly) to splash in even more colour! And because I was on my way to shops and park with my family, I finished off the look with a pair of trusty red converse.

Hope you enjoyed my post and that you're having a wonderful summer.

Love,

Your Stylegambler Veronika
