Daytime Sparkle

First of all Happy New Year to all of you. We hope your 2015 is off to a great start.
This week we've wanted to share with you our favorite purchases from the Sales! They are in full swing since before Xmas and with even more reductions and final sales heading our way in the next few weeks, it's really hard to
resist shopping and reaching our credit card limits.

I have made a list of things I want to buy, but unlike Agata, I could not find them in sales, so I 'had' to buy some form the new collections. But I got few little treats on sales too. Things I got were mostly tops and jewelry so far, but I have spotted few other things I 'need' online ;-)
My rules in buying sales items are:
1. Wardrobe Staples - things that wouldn't be one season hit, but rather a classic/investment piece that you'd keep for some time and get a lot of wear out of. The likes of coats, shoes, bags, jeans.
2. New Season Buys - my advice here is to have a look at next season's collections/lookbooks adn pick few trends you like and then shop those in sales.
3. Love at first sight - well we all know this one, right ladies? If you fall in love with something and can't resist, then try to think about 'value for money'. Basically count how many times would you wear this item and divide the cost by the wears..if the figure it's too high, then don't buy it! This works for me most of the times :-)
So now to my outfit. This sequined tee was an unplanned purchase, but I have to say it's one of my favorite casual go to at the moment. I really love how versatile it is! Paired with jeans and ankle boots for daytime or swap the boots for heels for edgy nigh out look. My faux fur jacket is my current cosiest cover up. It keeps me nice and warm even if the temperatures go bellow zero.
