Stylegamblers at the #itwbn event

Into The West Blogger Network

Hi All Style Gamblers,

We had a pleasure of attending the ITWBN event in Galway last Sunday. For those who haven't heard about ITWBN - In to the West Blogger Network yet, it's a network for
Irish bloggers at home and abroad, where the bloggers support and help each other by sharing and following their favorite blogs/posts or discovering new fellow bloggers.
We've never been to Galway before, so we went for a little trip to the Galway city before the event and shot a very exciting editorial. Can't wait to share the pictres with you next week. Back to the event now..

The event was held in the stunning Glenlo Abbey hotel in Galway. The location was absolutely breath taking. We really loved the vintage decor inside (you might know by know we are big fans of anything vintage) and the River room, where the event was held, was perfect! We wish we had more time to do a photoshoot or to stay overnight to explore more. Maybe next time :-)
ITWBN was organised by Sinead from YummyMummy and Saibh from Saibhegan. We were warmly greeted by Sinead on arrival and were gifted some great products from Young Blood Cosmetics, luxury mineral based make up brand (check them out HERE).
The afternoon started with a presentation by Helen form Lifes2Good, where we learned about their new products such as MicroNail and Viviscal and we were also gifted Slim Sonic electronic toothbrush. It's perfect for taking with you on holidays! Visit their website for more details on their products (HERE).
Ann from In-Tuition gave us a fast course on how to get the most out of our blog, which was very educational and we will definitely follow up on her tips.
The highlight for us was for sure the last speaker. Philip from Quickest Fox Marketing (follow him on facebook HERE or on Twitter @QuickFoxMarketi). He talked about how to become a wiz on Twitter and why it's so important to use the social media platforms to promote yourself. It was such a  motivational speach that we've decided to join the Twitter too (follow us @stylegamblers). We were actually banging our heads we didn't join sooner..
Between the speaches we could browse the fabulous pop up shops by Pia Galway, Sheneil Shoes, Stella&Dot, Little Pea Juices and Cotton Face.
I have to say we fell in love with so many pieces from Cotton Face. Our favs were the metalic turbans and fringed leather jackets (pics bellow). This shop just adds another reason on why to go back to Galway ;-).
We had a great time and were delighted we could join in. Meeting fellow bloggers, exchanging contacts and tips, while sipping on punch and eating delicious food is our idea of a perfect Sunday.
The only little fault for us was that there wasn't much time to interact and talk to the other bloggers, because of the high number of presentations, but hopefully next time we can stay overnight, so we won't have to rush back to Dublin.
We would like to thank the organisers for making us feel welcome and to the sponsors thank you for the kind gifts.

Stay style gambling,

Veronika and Agata
