The time of the year when
you can pull out all the stops and wear as much sparkle and glitter as you want without anyone batting an eye is here. The Christmas party season is in full swing and I couldn't be happier.
To me, nothing screams Xmas night out more than metallic and velvet. This combination gives me a luxurious feeling and I absolutely love the way these two materials shimmer under the night lights.
I got this statement skirt as a present for my last birthday and I have got so many wears out of it. It's one of my hero pieces. If I have nothing to wear on a night out, I can always rely on this skirt.
I have completely forgotten about this velvet top, until I was deciding on what to wear for this look. I was very pleased with how incredible the blue and gold looked put together and I adore the low cut back too.
I kept my accessories to a minimum by adding only the statement earrings, black leaf clutch, gold belt and simple black heels.
Even that is freezing outside, I have opted for a studded leather jacket, because it makes it easier to carry around and I know after a few drinks, I will not feel the cold that much anymore.
It's our Christmas party this Saturday and I am very excited for it, but I have to warn your now! I might not be able to function properly for few days, so I'm trying to write up posts in advance, because I suffer a week long hangovers. Just in case we are absent on the social media ;-)
